Paws (first attempt)

To go along with the costume head I had recently created, I found a pattern off Etsy and started making a pair of paws. Materials: minky fleece for the paw pads and claws (stuffed with poly-fill); faux fur for the fingers, palm, and wrist; a sweat wicking athletic fabric for the lining; a standard polyester blend for the wrist cuffs; and heavy duty polyester thread to handsew it all together.

  1. A worktable with lavender fur laid out and the printed handpaw pattern pinned to it — sheets labelled TOP OF HAND, UNDERSIDE OF HAND, MIDDLE FINGER and WRIST CUFF — with a marker, scissors and a cutting mat.
