Dangling Earring Asset (for VRChat)

Based on Vivienne Westwood's Soverign's Orb/Saturn hybrid logo earring design, I modeled these in Blender as my first ever 3D modeling project. These were created as accessory assets for my VRChat avatar model, including 'physic bones' to simulate the chain physics of the earring.

  1. Blender edit mode: the earring modelled as a small planet — a ribbed sphere inside a flat ring — hanging from a straight chain, its wireframe selected in orange and cyan.
    1/3Modeled the earring from scratch using basic shapes and then added 'bones' and weight painted each vertical section for each bone
  2. Close render of a brown canine avatar's head. A gold planet-shaped earring hangs on a fine chain beside a green slit-pupil eye.
